Our house is located in a beautiful area, where the Mondego River flows. There are many old villages to explore. It's a half hour drive from the endless Atlantic coast. There's a train station at the foot of the hill with regular direct trains to the university town Coimbra and the sea side town Figueira da Foz, and, with one simple transfer, to Porto and Lisbon. The house consists of two apartments, both at your private disposal, each with its own front door. Both apartments have a living room, kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom. There's a fireplace in the downstairs living room and plenty of wood available. Adjacent is a roofed and furnished veranda, and a large terrace overlooking the hilly property. Both apartments are fully furnished, bed linen and towels are provided

Bij aankomst was het huis zeer compleet, er stonden bloemen, water, thee, koffie, wijn in de koelkast. Dat is echt heel fijn na een lange reis. Het huis is gezellig en heeft meer dan genoeg spullen in de keuken. En veel boeken. En de pingpongtafel is super, werd elke dag gebruikt. Het uitzicht vanaf het terras is prachtig. Je komt hier echt tot rust. Iets onhandig is dat de boven verdieping alleen buitenom te bereiken is. De kinderen die daar sliepen moesten met de huissleutel ‘s morgens naar binnen. Of ‘s nachts in het donker als er iets was. En het duurt wat lang voor je op de snelweg bent. Een bakkertje in het dorp was wel fijn geweest. Maar ondanks dat hebben we een geweldig verblijf gehad. Echt aan te raden.

La casa está en un entorno impresionante, con un jardín precioso y un bosque alrededor para dar paseos. La accesibilidad a la casa es algo complicada, sobre todo se tarda bastante tiempo en llegar a una de las autopistas que pasan cerca pero con accesos distantes. Jacqueline deja la casa muy equipada, cuida todo para que el huésped esté muy cómodo. Únicamente los cuartos de baño que son amplios y limpios, podrían mejorarse un poco.

You can enjoy many nice views in the neighbourhood, make beautiful walks and visit many places. You can make a day-trip to Lisbon or Porto, Fatima, Nazare and ofcourse Coimbra. In half an hour you are on the beach. But if you want to stay near the house, you can walk uphill to the village and visit the Roman church. You will also find a small convenience store that is open 7 days a week.
The house is situated halfway up the hillside. There's a train station at the foot of the slope with trains to Figueira da Foz and Coimbra. The village Reveles, municipality of Abrunheira, begins at the hill's ascension. There is a supermarket and a community center. There's an old church at the top of the hill where you'll find fantastic panoramic views. 12 km from Reveles lies the town of Montemor-o-Velho where a large Roman-era castle stands. There are several cafés, restaurants and supermarkets in Montemor.
