纳勒胡 · 整套小木屋 · 1室1床1.5卫 · 可住2人 · Artsy Cabin with Kitchen, outside Bathtub; Organic
This cozy, artsy, cabin has one bedroom, a private toilet, and on the side sits the fully private, open air bathtub with a nice shower. I can provide Epson salt for a detoxing soak under the stars. In the fully equipped kitchen is a large, new fridge, a two burner stove and a sink. Vintage chairs and two tables under the gazebo. The space is harmonious and bright with a lovely ocean view from the covered deck. Solar string lights make soft romantic lighting at night. Lush greenery and flowers. Located in the balmy, Southern part of Hawaii, The Big Island, is Mark Twain, a unique subdivision with narrow, gravel roads and few cars, where many pioneering women and men live in their own unique, free-style ways. A place where friendly people look out for each other. Your stroll through the neighborhood will feel like times gone by when nobody rushed, people greeted you, and traffic was rare. Lush tropical greenery and floral scents are plentiful within Mark Twain where the climate is perfect. It is usually sunny, with blue skies and a nice, little breeze during the day, and a bit of rain at night. You will be close to the pristine surf beach at Kawaa, where it is usually very quiet. There is a place in this area where you can fill up your bottle with spring-fed water flowing from the rocks. My place is close to the paved road and is easy to find, and its proximity to surrounding attractions is ideal. In less than 10 minutes, you will find yourself at the farmer’s market, bank, and post office. The Kilauea volcano, in Volcanoes National Park is only a 40 minute drive from my home. Whittington Park where you can swim is a 15 minute drive. Hookena Beach is a 45 minute drive and Punaluu Black Sand beach is about a 20 minutes drive. We have two farmers markets per week in Naalehu on Wednesdays and Fridays. In Oceanview we have a Saturday farmer’s market/swap meet and there are two Supermarkets. South Point is a 15 minute drive and from there you can walk to the famous, pristine Green Sands Beach. This walk will take about an hour and a half, and along the way you will see a myriad of drift wood, rock formations and coral until you reach the amazing green sand beach, glistening with pure olivine. You are able to swim here, safely. Hookena Beach, famous for dolphins and whales visiting the bay, is just a 45 minute drive. The water is bright light blue, the cliffs impressive, the sandy beach so soft, surf, snorkeling, shade trees, showers and toilets make this the ideal beach to spend many hours on. I have a cooler and ice for you for such an occasion. There are also rain forrest hiking trails. Close by is beautiful Manuka Park for those so inclined. Upon arriving at the property, you will be greeted by my two lovable dogs, Luna and Koa. They will ensure you feel right at home! My beautiful cat, Hoku, might visit you as well. The chickens and chicks are free-range and are fun to feed and watch. I’m sure you will enjoy the many colorful birds and butterflies. My guests have access pretty much everywhere on the property. You could walk to the goat pasture if you like. I have found that feeding the goats little snacks like papaya peels in their smiley mouths is something my guests enjoy. Our county water is fed by an underground water table, making it the best in the state. If you wish, you may put the water through the provided ceramic water filter on the kitchen counter. No need to buy bottled water. Available for your use is a two person hammock on a stand to sunbathe and relax and an on the go hammock that you can take out and about with you. The cabin comes equipped with pots, pans, plates, cups, utensils etcetera, and a blender. Organic cotton bed sheets and towels are provided. There is a good internet connection here. Your first morning I serve a delicious healthy breakfast. After that you can order breakfast. Home made and most ingredients from my happy organic little farm. All guests loved it. All my guests have loved the bed also. The cabin creates good sleep apparently. Taking a hot bath with Epson salt under the stars is a lovely experience also.
Exactly as described; peaceful, healing and surrounded by nature. If you love nature, animals, learning about healthy lifestyles and being off the beaten path and want to experience the real Hawaii then you will love it. Carolina was wonderful and communication was excellent. I’m so happy I met her and now consider her a friend. Mahalo.
amazing host, rural relaxing stay. too much character to write here. A muIsland. on your trip in southern part of kona island.
We had an incredible Hawaiian getaway, away from the hustle and bustle of crowds and city life. My wife and I were enveloped in the warmth of aloha spirit and received outstanding hospitality from the host, Carolina. She is an absolute gem, showering us with care and attention. We wholeheartedly recommend staying with Carolina to anyone looking for a truly special and rejuvenating retreat.
Carolina is a gifted healer, a knowledgeable local guide, and a kind soul. She has truly built an oasis on a magical and rustic part of the Big Island. If you’re looking to tune out the daily grind and tune into nature and the wonders that Ka’u has to offer, I whole heartedly recommend spending some time at Carolina’s.
A magical experience! Caroline is one of a kind, and her home speaks to that. We immediately felt comfortable & cared for. Lovely space, outdoor shower, and the setting was a dream. You have everything you need and more. A little further away from amenities, but that is what makes it so special! Plenty of places to visit around her home. Caroline provided not only local wisdom and tips, but her knowledge on food as medicine is worth the stay in itself. She made us delicious meals and went above and beyond in her hospitality. Her spirit and home is a gift we will treasure!

A car is essential in Hawaii. It is a big island with lots to see and experience.
From Naalehu it’s as far to the bigger towns of Hilo as it is to Kailua Kona. Volcano park is a little over a half hour drive. The hiking possibilities are endless, and we have several pristine beaches relatively close by.
Here are the three bays where the dolphins regularly visit us; Hookena, Honaunau and Kealakekua. They are between 45 minutes to one and a half hour drive from here.
We have a beach close by where clean mineralized spring water flows from the rocks. I always fill a gallon jar with this wonderful water when I visit that extremely beautiful and quiet place. I will explain where it is when you are here, if you like.
自我介绍
I moved to Hawaii in 1997 and have mainly focused on natural healing, organic gardening, and sustainability during those years. I have studied extensively with a Hawaiian medicine man and I have many tricks up my sleeve to resolve common chronic or acute health issues using plants, herbs and all kinds of natural remedies from nature. I am very passionate about helping people with their health. I still love teaching Art and creating Art.
