We loved our stay at Lou and Kami’s! We were greeted with a bottle of wine and snacks at check-in and found the place spotless! Everything you could need is there, from coffee, washer/dryer, beach gear (and snorkel gear!). We were given great food recs (it can be hard to find open places at night!) and we were obsessed with the local bakery! Great access to Volcano National Park and the black sand beach (we saw a huge monk seal and turtles)! And last but not least, the view from the lanai was spectacular! Having a coffee in the morning or a beer at sunset is just the best. We can’t wait to come back!

The place is stunning, I think the descriptions and pictures really undersold how roomy, clean, well-stocked, and well-furnished it is. This area of big island is beautiful, a perfect place to relax and to do some hiking and see some spectacular coastline. Volcano National Park is also accessible by car from the spot. The local restaurants, food stands, coffee, etc. is all incredible, but scout the hours ahead of time. Ocean View is only another 15 minutes or so and also had a good selection of restaurants and stores. The amenities provided by the hosts went far above expectations, and the view from the bed is amazing. If I ever find myself on big island again, I'd certainly look to stay here again.

This place was far better than we even expected. The view was absolutely beautiful! The airbnb was so cozy and clean. They had everything we needed and more. They went above and beyond with providing little things that we didn’t know we would need. 10/10 will recommend to anyone in this area! It was our favorite airbnb on the island.

Lou and Kami’s place is perfect! We find everything we need and the place is full of thoughtful details. It’s new, clean and beautiful. We feel very lucky to have booked their place! :)
