Loved my glamping weekend at Spencer’s wonderful hide away! The camp is a little hard to find but worth the effort to get there. When I got lost Spencer stayed on the cell to talk me in and got on his dirt bike to come meet me - very helpful. Once you arrive - you don’t want to leave. This is a peaceful, quiet, beautiful and inviting retreat that looks and feels even better that the photos.

So beautiful ! We highly recommend this special spot- a truly unique experience. On a mountain amidst the forest it is private, quiet and we spent an amazing two nights up there. Just make sure to drive up there with a 4WD :-) Spencer’s Glamping tent is spacious, clean and nicely furnished. We slept well in the comfy bed and felt very safe. The balcony has a wonderful view and the kitchen has all the amenities you need to cook or barbecue. Taking a hot outdoor shower was great:-) Thanks to Spencer for putting so much effort into all the little details! The family has been very hospitable and helpful and the communication was great. As we are in holiday from Germany we won’t be able to return in the near future, but we would love to stay an this little mountain hideout again.

our first and best glamping experience! felt very remote but was not too out of the way to do day trips around redway/garberville. did a hike, some swimming and a mountain bike ride. it was a very peaceful and relaxing get away and Spencer was always responsive.

Glamping at its finest! Roll up w/ an ice chest & book & let the layers unfurl. Remote and quiet, yet close enough to get out for day trips. Perfectly laid out and all of the little things and attention to detail…lighting, linens, furniture selection, kitchen supplies…exactly what my soul needed! Great hosts too! Mahalo!
