The house was nice. I liked that there was a play room for my toddlers (with a foam floor!) The neighbors were friendly and the neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. The house appeared very clean but there is lots of dog hair. We don’t have pets so it was very easy to notice all the hair on our clothes after sitting on the furniture. Luckily there was no smell from pets. Additionally front of the toilet bowl was so gross and obviously not cleaned. The bath amenities provided like shampoo and body wash were half full so left used from previous guests (also kinda gross). A previous guest left a review mentioning the stark white laboratory lighting which hasn’t changed but it didn’t really bother me. Overall the stay was comfortable but considering the steep cleaning fees that are charged I expected it to be cleaner.

Quiet home in a location convenient to Freeland. Pretty landscaping and setting. Very much appreciate the home was dog friendly. The home itself was a bit disappointing for the following reasons: The lawn hadn't been mowed recently, and was deep and wet which made for soggy dogs. We found a sack of very rotten avocados in a drawer in the kitchen. While the kitchen had nice clean appliances, there was very little by way of dishes, pots, pans - certainly not a kitchen for anyone wanting to make a nice meal. The primary bathroom tub and shower both leak, rather substantially and need to be addressed. There are no plugs with USB ports for device charging, and many of the plugs had child-proof inserts that were (by design) very difficult to remove to access. Last but not least, the lighting in the home is extremely bright white and not dimmable - think laboratory bright. Attention to these details would make for a much nicer rental, more consistent with what expect from Airbnb.

We enjoyed our stay! Went to a nearby lake and enjoyed kayaking there. Very quiet neighborhood and very very nice views from the balcony as well as the backyard view. The house was very decent and cleaned. We did have some spiders inside but it’s not like you can keep them out right.
