This is not meant at all to be an insulting review - our expectations simply did not match the experience. There were lots of 'surprises' that (had they been detailed in advance) would have changed our rental selection. On the day of our arrival, we were told by our host that there was construction going outside the guest house. Hammering and concrete mixing started at 7am on 2 of the mornings we were there. The toilet wasn't functioning properly, requiring manual turning on and off of the water hose. When we reported it to the host he said knew and it was first priority on the maintenance list. It was very rainy weather and the bathroom, especially the floor, was always wet from condensation. The hot water was intermittent, usually lasting only a minute or two, so shower water was tepid/cold, and the bathtub (a lovely amenity) could not be used. Many of the roads in the village are single lane and hard to drive, especially at night. We were disappointed with our stay.

Such a beautiful atmosphere with a peacefully landscape to follow and rest your mind while experiencing it. Nicely created by multiple different spots that offers you different background venues for each moments. I recommend this place if you are searching for the teleport away from everyday life!

Okke's house was a perfect stay - great view from the two terraces, spacious, clean and has all amenities you need for a vacation. Plenty of useful tips provided for us, such as wineries, restaurants, viewpoint. We had a bit of problem with water heater but he was responsive and resolved it quickly for us. Thank you for the lovely stay. Highly recommend vacationers to stay here!

Anazing place for a couple with or without a baby. The house is beautiful, fully equipped and warm. The village people awesome and the view from the house is fantastic. There is a nice spot of small and peaceful water stream 50 meter down the hill. The hosts are very good people, with very high level of service with a smile. Highly recommended
