Rita is a warm and accommodating hostess. She's very responsive and great at answering questions. This place feels like home when you walk through the door for the first time. Her cabin feels thoughtfully put together. We hope to stay there in summer or fall and enjoy a fire outside and more!

Absolutely loved our stay in Rita’s cabin! The cabin was beautiful and so peaceful. Our dog enjoyed exploring the woods nearby. Rita was extremely helpful with local recommendations and was so friendly!

We had a wonderful 2 month stay at the Cabin. Right on the VAST trail system and Moose Haven trail access. If you like Black Bear on kingdom trails this might be the best house in Burke. We are skiers, and the 7 min drive to the mountain was entirely manageable. Dirt Church brewery is less than a quarter mile down the road. Rita’s place is small but cozy. Best for small families. In the summer months, the amazing outdoor space would let you spread out a lot more. The amazing bike/ski shed was amazing. This place has a FULL standby generator. We lost power during a storm and a minute later the generator kicked in and it was like nothing happened. HUGE! Wi-Fi is spotty (standard issue in Burke) we used Verizon really well. HIGHLY recommend Rita’s place if you are heading to the Kingdom.

Rita was an excellent hostess. She was easily accessible and very responsive. Rita made sure everything went smoothly for us from check in to check out. The cabin is beautiful, brand new, very clean, has homey touches with Vermont local artistry as well as pretty baskets hand made by Rita. Quiet location and close to Burke Mountain for skiing as well as right on the Kingdom trail bike paths. Has all the modern amenities needed - washer, dryer, stove/ oven, dishwasher, tv. Plenty of blankets, towels, and sheets provided. Loved our stay here and highly recommend!
