This is a beautiful place in the Sisal neighborhood of Valladolid. Jo was super helpful in providing an array of information to help navigate the city and the co-host Maribel was a delight to be around. She greeted us with a smile and made us breakfast on the terrace in the mornings.

Wonderful little home! In Sisal very close to the Ex-Convento, yet very private. At the end of a small road that looks like you are in a village, lies this beautiful home with access to a garden and swimming pool. The road is so small that it is not in the web map repertory - so don't count on that to give you the proper location! Make sure you get the directions from Jo. It is a very easy access once you understand where it is. We spent 10 days in that house and loved every minute of it.

Jo's place is a true Mexican oasis. Not having many reviews we were apprehensive at first but dont be alarmed - the property is nothing short of amazing. The unique design and attention to detail mixed with elegant architectural elements made for a very unique stay. The outdoor space is very cool too - garden to hang out, have a meal outside and cool off in the private pool. Communication with Jo was excellent - she made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and provided great recommendations of places to see and eat at. The location is good too, walking distance to the convent. TIP: bring ear plugs as next door chickens wake up early:)) Overall, we would not hesitate staying here again.

Wow, oh, wow. We cannot say enough good things about Jo's place! It is absolutely beautiful! It has all of the cleanliness and functionality of a new building yet with the charm and personality and style of an historic property. Trust me when I say that the photos do not do this place justice - particularly in the garden, which is peaceful, large, serene, and extremely well designed. My partner and I were staying in the downstairs while our friend was staying in the upstairs, and we all had plenty of space to ourselves. Jo was really accommodating and made us feel welcome and was open to us utilising the entire property. Valladolid is a charming city, and this property fit right in with charm and comfort and a peaceful surrounding. If we were coming back for a visit, I would not hesitate at all to book Jo's place again - 10 out of 10!

Where do we start?? This place is an absolute gem. The combination of location, beautiful architecture, design and amenities really made our stay so wonderful. The short walk to all of the Valladolid action was easy and fun; super close to the convent and Calle de los Frailes. The finishes of this home are superb. And, to top things off, we were warmly welcomed by Danielle who made many wonderful recommendations for activities and restaurants. Thank you for opening this beautiful space to our family!
