My girlfriend and I stayed for a couple of nights at Alissa's Airbnb and we enjoyed every second of it! The property is beautiful and really well taken care of. The amenities are 100% functional and work perfectly. If you enjoy being in beautiful green spaces where you can fully relax, this is definitely your best option. Once again, thank you Alissa for the 5 start treatment and the enjoyable conversations. We hope we can come back soon. :)

Stayed for our anniversary in Bunkie 1 and was very beautiful. The trails and hottub was the highlight for our cozy going away weekend. Alissa was an excellent host and we will definitely stay here again! Thanks for a wonderful and peaceful weekend!

I booked Bunkie #1 and absolutely loved it. The Bunkie was spacious and the extra touches were fantastic. The grounds were also fantastic with great walking trails for my dog and I. The shower was wonderful and clean as was the bathroom. I will definitely be back.

Pros- Hosts were fantastic, place was clean, good amount of equipment provided (kayaks, games, fire wood etc) Cons- privacy for bunkie #1 is unfortunately little to none. Hosts have a beautiful house with big windows on the property (which is mentioned in the listing) however I wish a photo was provided to see the proximity and just how much visibility hosts can see of us. Then for outhouse/ shower use, we had to always walk on bunkie #2s land which again, shared washroom is mentioned in the ad but for us, was not the amount of privacy we were looking for.

Alissa's place was a wonderful spot for our weekend getaway. Cabin 1 was spacious, clean, bright and comfy. A crop of trees hide it from the next cabin. While it isnt completely private from the main house or Cabin #2 (you walk past either to get to the outhouse and shower), you certainly feek like you have your own space to be in. All the tools you need for cooking meals are available. The hot tub was devine to relax in, while watching all the nature animals feast at a special spot that Alissa keeps stocked with seeds each day. The outhouse was clean, adorable AND you dont have to hold your breath while you're in there! I had my dog with me, and he definitely enjoyed the leash free space to explore and play fetch. The boat launch is a quick walk across the street (a little long for carrying a kayak), and perfect for a quick dip for humans and canines alike. The narrow channel to get to the lake is an enjoyable meandering along cottages and lilly pads.
