Kim was a wonderful host, very responsive and provided helpful local recommendations! The location was beautiful, serene and a great getaway. My family of four was visiting Vancouver from California for the first time, and we had hoped to also explore attractions near downtown Vancouver, but due to inadequate research on my part, I did not know that Garden Bay required getting on a ferry from the mainland. For this reason, we ended up adjusting our stay from 6 nights to 3 nights at Kim’s cottage. However, Kim was very understanding and assisted with processing the change through airbnb. We thoroughly enjoyed the 3 nights we spent and will highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway by coast!

Kim’s place was beautiful, well equipped with kitchen appliances, spices and basics. Kim was very responsive to messages and had great recommendations of hikes and walks to do around the area. Lots of step to step instructions to use all amenities (coffee machine, fire place etc). The place was cozy, and perfect for an escape from the city. We will be back!

Our trip to Kim's place on the Sunshine Coast was fantastic, perfect for a New Year's recharge. The atmosphere was instantly calming. We loved the high-end coffee machine and the Sonos system playing New Year tunes. The big TV was great for movies, and the fireplace added cozy warmth, ideal for relaxing. Kim's recommendations were great, especially the Fish Ladder hike. At the top, a breathtaking sunset awaited us, an unforgettable sight. Overall, our stay was so refreshing we wanted to extend it. It's an ideal retreat. Thanks to Kim for a memorable experience!
