Best place we've stayed so far. House merged with nature. Kayaks and gentle waters combined for wonderful days out paddling with kids. Little jetty to fish from. Gorgeous sunsets and evening lights across the river. Superb.
A wonderful house and area that feels like you’re a world away but still only a one hour drive from the heart of Sydney. Lots of activities literally available at your doorstep or just relax and do nothing and take in the view. Highly recommended.
Great house and fantastic location. Anton was a great host. Not only everything in order but looked after all the little things to make the stay enjoyable. Highly recommend

Star gazing: The Royal National Park has been voted the best place to star gaze in Australia:
According to the travel experts at the Next Vacay, the RNP has been voted as the very best place for stargazing in all of Australia, with its low levels of air and light pollution.
This call was made after analysing 30 of Australia’s most popular national parks and ranking them based on the number of hashtags on Insta, from most to least popular. The Royal National Park clocked in with a hefty 165,307 stargazing photos under the hashtag, with it also winning off the back of further analysis of search demand data.
Winter is recommended as the best time to head to the Royal National Park to camp and see the stars, with the crisp nights allowing better visibility and unobstructed views. It is also suggested that if you are headed out on a starry mission, you do so when the moon is in a gibbous or crescent phase, so as to ensure the least amount of light in the sky as possible.
