My partner and I chose this hut based on the reviews that there was no mobile signal, and boy did it live up to that! We had time and space to connect and detox from the online world. A clean, tidy and brilliant little hut with amazing access to the moors and to amazing local restaurants.

lots of improvements needed. lack of host support when issues arose. Bad weather cannot be predicted, but when a water leak occurred the host did not offer to sort asap (they live on site) but 11am the next day as they don’t have key, When i raised concern about only 1 of 4 lights working, he stated they have been playing up & needs sorting. Place stank of sewer, I believe they have cesspit that needs emptying, we couldn’t use shower. No fire tools for safe use of wood burner. Only window -does not look out to wooded area as one may assume from photos . But to view storage units (Although tidy), there was also large area of scrap metal, with broken glass that looks like it has been attempted to be burnt. Generally clean, but Place lacks care and attention; used dish sponges (needs new each time), fridge door broken, bathroom door doesn’t lock, broken blind. Little love and attention this could be a lovely place. We left after 1st night due to smell of place. Refunded 1 night.

Great little cabin in the woods. My girlfriend and I had a lovely digital detox & we enjoyed the beautiful surrounding areas. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to chill out and disconnection from the modern, chaotic nature of social media.

Ok the place itself is quite nice inside. But it’s in a very odd location - near their house in what can only be described as a commercial lockup / dumping ground not clear from the pictures. A big row of shipping containers and a huge pile of burned out household stuff like mattresses, furnitures, crockery etc. if you want serenity this is not the one. The owner offered us to use any of the wood around the building for the fire but obviously this is all soaking wet and not suitable for firewood. So take your own as the fire is only source of heat
