We stayed here to view the Total Eclipse and felt right at home. Photos don’t do this place justice! It’s even better in person! Everything was smooth from start to finish. I would definitely return.

we had a great time! was so quiet and peaceful. was fairly close to a town. we will definitely stay again if we come back! they were great!

Blanket smelled of pet urine. We found an eyelash stuck to another blanket. When messaged Woodye responded “The blankets are washed periodically - not every time a guest leaves like the sheets and towels.” Mouse droppings were found in the bathroom drawers. Host cleaned these up but in the photo I took there were 15 droppings. Hottub was not working. Host explained that the homeowner does not like to spend the extra money needed for repairs or services. That the hot tub has needed a flush and clean out but owner will not approve the cost. There was dirt throughout the tub and the water was discolored and foamy. The amenity was not repaired before we left. Location is beautiful and the home is well decorated but, would we stay here again? Absolutely not. I urged the host to clean the bedding after every guest. Woodye replied “your suggestions will be taken to heart”. Clean bedding is an industry standard. AirCare refunded 30% for hot-tub unavailability. Host never offered adjustment

This home and the lake are truly something special —a beautiful hidden gem! Peaceful and relaxing are how I would best describe it, and the house has all you need for a perfect family getaway :)

We had a wonderful and relaxing girl's weekend at Dock Holiday and I hope to continue our new tradition next year! The home is lovely, extremely comfortable, and the view is fantastic. The comfortable beds combined with the absolute peace and quiet really made for two nights of really great sleep. Even though we were there in the off-season, there were still plenty of good places to eat. We didn't really take advantage of the kitchen, but it appeared to be very well supplied with everything you'd need to prepare meals. Woodye Kaye was a fantastic host! Thank you again for having us!
