My stay at Joshua's place was comfortable, very convenient and an easy walk from York Minster. I was given full instructions for entering the property via key codes and Joshua communicated well with me before I checked in. My room was exactly as it appeared in the photograph, a small en-suite single and it was a good and economical stay, particularly so as York is a very popular destination for people visiting the Christmas markets in December. Towels and bathmat were provided for the spotlessly clean bathroom which has a good quality shower cubicle in addition to the washbasin and loo. Facilities included a wall mounted TV and a hospitality tray for making hot drinks.

Fantastic location - easy walking to the historic centre of York. The hosts can arrange parking (let them know in advance). The room was clean and tidy. The room is tiny but it is absolutely fine if you are using it as a solo traveller to explore York. The room had all the necessary amenities such as tea & coffee, TV and is en-suite. I had a comfortable stay, it was good value for money. Hosts were very good at communications with clear information for check-in and check out. Thank you Joshua and Mary!
