We loved this little apartment! It was right in the middle of the gaslamp district. It is directly above a bar, but the noise never bothered us. You could feel the vibrations more than the noise being an issue. The skylight is gorgeous, but it gets insanely bright at sunrise. I wish I would have brought a sleeping mask, lol. Parking was a nightmare though. Watch out for places that aren't ACTUALLY overnight parking. We parked in the structure on G and it cost $124 for two nights 😳 That structure was shady about how they advertised. You can actually book ahead of time I guess, so maybe look into that.

Good location and hosts. Location was a little noisy and the ear plugs were much appreciated No shampoo and soap be prepared

Great location, great little space. A short walk to many great restaurants and the Convention Center. The description about the noise should not be taken lightly; music from the bar located directly underneath is LOUD and until closing (midnight most nights, 1am Friday and Saturday). In the early morning, trucks delivering supplies for the nearby restaurants are also very loud. Earplugs were generously provided but even they did not cancel the noise. Not recommended for light sleepers but if you can sleep through it or have good earplugs or headphones, the place is otherwise GREAT.
