Small cabin tucked back in the woods. Close quarters to other cabins but most others were vacant. Nice dock to fish from.

This cabin on a large northwoods WI lake was rustic AND very comfortable for the 4 of us. Felt like we had the whole resort to ourselves and access to many trails as well as lakes for kayaking and fishing. Loon calls at night, moon and stars over Butternut lake, trails right there on the land. If was great to have access to Butternut lake right there as well as a short drive to a plethora of other lakes. Easy access to town in case you forget something... or to get a new rod at St. Croix Fishing Rods if you want!. The cabin is comfy and lacked nothing that we needed for making our meals and getting a great night's sleep.

Beautiful spot, just a couple staircases down to Butternut Lake. Remote and serene (love those Loon calls!!) Not too remote: still within a 10-minute drive from a grocery store and a few pubs. The cabin we had (FishCrib) felt a bit rustic, but was charming and had all the essentials to cook and was well-maintained. A very cozy and fun spot for a romantic getaway, family vacation or share several cabins with friends. Highly recommend!
