The heart of the home is the open-concept living area, featuring a cozy fireplace, plush reclining seats, and a 50" 4K Smart TV for your entertainment. The kitchen is a chef's delight, fully equipped with modern appliances, a Keurig coffeemaker, and all necessary cookware, making dining-in a pleasure. Adjoining the kitchen, the dining area, with its island and bar stools, is perfect for both meals and remote work. Two elegantly appointed bedrooms await you. The downstairs queen suite offers a comfortable bed, smart TV, and an ensuite bathroom with a soaker tub overlooking the ocean, creating a spa-like ambiance. The upstairs king suite, a masterpiece of comfort, features an adjustable bed, skylight views of the bay, and an additional smart TV, ensuring a luxurious stay. The en suite bathrooms are modern and well-equipped, providing all essentials for a refreshing start or end to your day. Also during your stay enjoy the full smart home features of the cottage, turn the lights on and off via voice, ask Alexa to play your favorite song or artist, or try your hand at a fun voice trivia game. More details on the voice commands will be send after booking for the lights etc... but don't worry everything can also be controlled via normal switches and remotes :) Step outside to the deck, an ideal spot to enjoy the crisp sea air, complete with comfortable outdoor seating and a propane grill. The cottage also includes an electric vehicle charger for eco-friendly convenience. Please note there are Security cameras on the Property located outside. There is a Doorbell 24/7 camera that points towards the front door entry and the parking area. There is also a Camera on the Back (East) side of the shed that points down towards the water and monitors the area where the kayaks are stored, the North east corner of the firepit area is also visable from this camera. We also offer Alexa voice assistants smart home devices in the Kitchen and each bedroom as well as the TV's are all Alexa voice compatible. The Amazon Echo shows in the kitchen and upstairs bedroom have had the Camera shutters super glued shut and all voice recording features disabled for guest privacy.

We had a delightful stay! The property was pristine and very tasteful as described/shown. It was wonderfully relaxing and quiet all day with great views over the water. The kayaks were easy to unlock and use, launching in a small inlet a short walk away. Particularly enjoyed the coffee machine on our return! The hosts were super attentive and provided a lot of useful information and recommendations. Would totally stay here again.
Kelly was super friendly & communicative from beginning to end. We would definitely recommend, especially for those travelling on business.
The check-in process was seamless and the place was extraordinarily clean and idyllic. It suited our needs perfectly as we were visiting family in the area. Kelly was also very quick to respond to any communication. I would highly recommend staying here.
We are 2 retired couples on a little 'staycation' get-away. We wanted a quiet place, where there was a view of the water and close access (by car) to explore the beaches and coastline in the area. This house did not disappoint. When you drive up to the house, it looks quite a bit smaller from the outside than we expected. However, once inside, the space was very well laid out, and perfect for our needs Two bedrooms with ensuites provided us with privacy. The seaside decor was charming, furniture and appliances are all in great shape, beds are comfy, and the supplies in the kitchen were very good quality ~ everything was plentiful, in good working order, and spotlessly clean. Lots of little extra touches and conveniences everywhere in the house, including a detailed information book. Communication with Kelly was some of the best we have ever had. She left nothing to guesswork, so there were no surprises...which made our little 'holiday' even more successful. Thank you Kelly!
Myself and my boyfriend really enjoyed our stay with Kellie while we were on a work contract in Shelburne. We would definitely recommend this to all of our friends and family or anyone looking for a quiet private getaway in beautiful Nova Scotia.

The Cottage is located in North East Harbor Nova Scotia which is in the municipality of Shelburne, directly across the bay from Ingomar, with Views of the fishing wharf and the Atlantic Ocean to the Southeast. The Cottage is conveniently located equal distance from Barrington and Shelburne. The beautiful Roseway beach is just a short 12-minute drive up the road.
Please park in the Gravel parking area directly to the side of the Cottage.
