Located in a mostly coniferous forest, with its own private stony beach, this 100-year-old cabin is full of character. It has modern amenities and comforts with a rustic charm. The layout is open-concept with a vaulted ceiling and a loft bedroom. It also features an oceanfront barrel sauna and outdoor fire pit that faces the sunset! This place is not your average Airbnb—it's a destination of its own. Perfect for a couple or single person seeking a peaceful getaway, surrounded by nature. As you enter the back of the cabin, there is a small kitchen with a double-burner hot plate, mini fridge, kettle and lots of amenities for cooking a nice meal. There's a handmade penny-top table with two chairs for dining. Upstairs, the loft features a comfortable queen size bed. The living area is cozy and stylish with lots of books and a wood stove for chilly evenings. There's a patio door off the living room that opens up to a deck where you can just barely glimpse the ocean through the trees. The path to the waterfront is about 150 ft. through the trees. This is where you will find a secluded fire pit and sitting area, as well as the barrel sauna! If you would like to experience the sauna, we will come light the stove for you and provide additional towels for an extra fee. Then we'll leave you to enjoy it in total privacy. The beach is covered in smooth stones and we highly recommend taking a cold-plunge in the Atlantic after heating up in the sauna. The property is nearly 3 acres and very private. It's also South/West-facing, so you'll get to see epic sunsets, followed by incredible stars.
