Coles Bayside Cottage has been a family homestead since the late 1960s. The property features a main house, woodshed, toolshed and 2-seat outhouse, all situated at the end of a long, private drive. The property enjoys sweeping private views of Jordan Bay. The expansive lawn takes you right down to the shoreline, where you can walk along the rocks and visit the small sandy beach at low tide. The setting is rural so you will likely encounter wildlife and insects typical of the region. If you are a fan of astrophotography, the expansive southeastern exposure will provide a front row seat to all the astrological events the northern sky has to offer! Maison très accueillante, au bord de baie, très arborée et très calme ! Idéale pour se ressourcer quelques jours loin des tumultes de la ville :) Communication avec Mary excellente ! La maison est très bien équipée, 4 chambres fonctionnelles et une salle de bain spacieuse équipée d’une baignoire. Shelburne n’est qu’à quelques kilomètres avec un Sobeys pour faire les courses, une laverie à proximité (prévoir de la lessive et des pièces) et des bars sympas. Prévoyez cependant de l’anti-moustique car ils sont un petit peu féroces .. :)
We were a group of four and enjoyed our time. The location is peaceful and serene, while close driving access to amenities and local beaches.
Such a rustic cute little place, felt like I was at my nans house!!! Such a beautiful spot, quiet and serene, kitchen had so many spices and everything we needed to cook!!! It’s definitely rustic dated appeal, perfect for a cozy gateaway!!!
What a beautiful little gem, tucked away off the road for privacy. We loved it here and will be back. Mostly because it reminded me of days at grandmas as a child. The old board games were a highlight :)
After our place cancelled last minute we found Mary’s place and she hurried to get it ready for us as it was late in the day and we have 3 young kids and had been driving all day, it quite literally saved our vacation since we really didn’t know what we would have done! The spot was beautiful the cottage was so cute and lots more room than we even needed! Would definitely go back!

Jordan Ferry is a fishing community located just 10 minutes from the historic town of Shelburne, 20 minutes from Lockeport, and 45 minutes from Barrington. Shelburne County is rich with culture, museums, restaurants, beaches, and of course lobster. If you want to golf, you’re just 30 minutes from the 18 hole course at River Hills Golf & Country Club. If water sports are more your speed, sign up for sailing lessons at the Shelburne Harbour Yacht Club. Kejimkujik National Park Seaside offers breathtaking nature walks along the Atlantic Ocean.
Getting around is easily done with your own vehicle. There are also beautiful walking trails nearby.
