This home is right at the center of the village. We were visiting for the eclipse, and it was great for that purpose: just a block away from grocery store and a couple restaurants, and a half-block from the park (which is mostly open grass with a gazebo). There was plenty of sleeping space, and the beds were comfortable. There is only one shower, but we easily arranged our schedules around that. Even though it's on a main street, it's generally peaceful and pleasant, even sitting on the front porch. It seems to be a historical home, though I didn't see information on when it was built or what its history might be. Our friends who stayed with us decided to call it "the mayor's house".

Very helpful and went beyond for cleaning off the sidewalk

This was a perfect place for our children and grandchildren who came in town for their grandfather’s funeral. When I was having trouble with booking ( because I was overwhelmed with my father’s death) she assisted me without question. Our grandchildren loved the upstairs suite, was perfect for the pre teens. Will definitely book again if needed.
