We lived in this apartment for 20 years. Our children, both artists, grew up here and created most of the paintings on the walls. When it was our family home, we loved the proximity of the Danube and the fact that the city centre is only a few minutes away. The sunset and the view of Gellért Hill are beautiful in a different way every day, and the huge terrace is truly breathtaking. We can't wait for you to experience all of it, and hope that you'll feel as at home in the apartment as we did! The apartment is located on the top (6th) floor of a building with an elevator. The place comprises of a spacious living room and terrace, kitchen, dining area, two bedrooms, and a bathroom and separate toilet. In the living room, there is a seating area with a convertible sofa, an armchair, and a 4k resolution smart TV with streaming platforms (all of which you can use with your own account) and cable channels. This is where you can access the terrace from: a private 38 square metre area with outdoor seating and dining area, overlooking the rooftops and providing a breathtaking view of Gellért Hill. There is also a dining area that can seat up to six people, and a kitchen equipped with everything you might need to prepare a meal. There is a comfortable king size bed in both bedrooms. The bathroom has a bathtub, a sink, and a washing machine, while the toilet is in a separate space right next to it. The windows of one of the bedrooms and the living room open on the street, while the other bedroom overlooks the building's garden. As such, it is quiet and calm, but even in the other rooms you don't have to worry about noise thanks to the sound insulated windows and being on an upper floor. In any case, if you're a light sleeper, please keep this in mind. There is air conditioning, and of course heating for when the season requires. As a big plus, the apartment has two parking spaces in the building's garage, which is a rare amenity in the area.
