My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights to see the solar eclipse. It was a lovely little getaway - clean, complete privacy, beautiful surroundings (saw lots of deers!), has everything you need for a few days stay. We especially loved the deck/patio around the house and the large wild field. The interior decor felt a little barren/outdated, also the 2 person swing outside was broken. Would have expected more based on the pricing. Be mindful that there aren't very many food options nearby, closest grocery store/decent food options are 30 min+ away. Nice place for a quiet & peaceful stay!

WOW!!!!! What a beautiful place. Everything was perfect. We were in town for a wedding and the only thing missing was an iron. We called to see if one was hiding somewhere and the host apologized and a few hours later an iron and ironing board was delivered. What great service. Not many people that come to the country need an iron, so we really appreciated the quick response. Kitchen is fully stocked for our morning breakfast!!!! I would recommend this property to families looking for a retreat, but its also perfect for couples looking for a romantic get away. The next time we are in Jefferson, we hope this property is available. It is wonderful!!

Exactly as described, peaceful and beautiful home. It was quiet, we sat outside and played volleyball for hours, great get away. The only feed back I have is maybe a bit more furniture in the living room. The host was great, very response. We will be back!
