Lavendale Farmstay is a perfect country retreat. We stayed in "Kirribilli" which had two bed rooms and enough beds to sleep 6 people. The kitchen was well appointed. It would have been very easy to cook meals there if we had been staying longer than just one night. The bathroom was spacious and clean. it was raining the night we arrived so we were unable to take advantage of the outdoor patio but it would have been a perfect spot for coffee in the mornings and wine or tea in the evenings. Our hosts Teresa & Jean were very welcoming & friendly. Check in / out was very straightforward. They provided a booklet that gave interesting & helpful information about the property (crops they grow, walks we could take, etc) and they even provided some pamphlets for restaurants and activities in and around York. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Lavendale and our hosts Teresa and Jean.

Lovely stay, very peaceful - felt right at home. Worth a wander around the farm to take in the sights.

Amazing place to relax and unwind. Kids loved the many animals. Had everything we needed and more as far as facilities. Large open living area for a cabin.
