A BBQ and firepit on your private deck and bikes are available for exploring the island or heading to the beach. Our cottage is newly listed on AirBnB. We built this space on our property on Amelia Island to share this special island with others, and we know you will love it as much as we do. Island Guesthouse in the Oaks gets its name from the gorgeous live oaks dripping with moss all around the property. These grand trees are one of the reasons we bought our home. We're situated about a half-mile from the beach, so a morning walk or easy bike ride takes you to the white sandy beaches of Amelia Island. We've taken time to furnish our upstairs guesthouse with beachy decor in comfy, bright spaces, set in the lush green of the trees in our back garden. There is a spacious living room and kitchen for your culinary masterpieces...or just a cup of coffee and a muffin in the morning! There are two bedrooms with queen beds on either side of the hallway, a bathroom and full-size washer and dryer. Once you walk onto the attached deck you'll want to laze around with that first-morning coffee or an adult beverage to close out a memorable day here on our island. With the lush green of ferns and towering oak trees surrounding you, you may not want to leave! Be sure to tell us if you'd like to barbecue while you're here and we'll put the BBQ out for y'all. Ready for a biking adventure on the soothing shaded trails all around the island? We'll set the bikes out for you too! Want to have an outdoor fire? Step out onto your attached deck to your outdoor fire pit. Bring your goodies to make S'mores, roast some hot dogs, reminisce about your day on Amelia, or just sit around and tell ghost stories.
