Gorgeous cottage with cosy sitting room and large kitchen for home cooking. Bed was super comfy. Really enjoyed our short stay here would happily book again.

Cockleshell cottage is in a stunning location, beautiful scenery and a few minutes walk from a small beach where one can swim.(We didn’t, weather and time were against us) the cottage was extremely comfortable and clean, great facilities . Mickey’s bar ten minutes walk away was great for an early doors sampling of Guinness. A drive up to the top of Minuan Mountain behind the cottage is well worth it on a fine day for incredible views. Achill island is good for walking and to experience the Wild Atlantic Way. A lovely short stay.

Il cottage è molto spazioso luminoso e confortevole e fornito di tutto quanto possa servire, la cucina è perfetta e c’è anche una lavanderia. Pulizia impeccabile. Abbiamo apprezzato moltissimo il salotto con il caminetto che da una atmosfera bellissima alla casa di sera! Assolutamente consigliato!

The cottage is beautiful and comfortable and has everything you need. The surroundings are lovely, with a great view from the house. Highly recommended for a stay on Achill.
