My girlfriend and I had an amazing stay here, I'd strongly recommend booking a stay here. Carol made our stay very pleasant. The host truly went above and beyond to make our stay excellent. We truly didn't want to leave this cute little cottage. If I could give more than 5 stars, I definitely would. 😊

Carol and her husband were both very welcoming and very nice. I felt right at home, and was also given plenty of space to myself. The perfect place to getaway from a busy life and just to spend some time in peaceful solitude.

Carol is the perfect host! Could not praise her or the accommodation any higher. I had the best weekend ever relaxing, the place is so tranquil and peaceful and has everything you could possibly need in terms of outdoor cooking, large tea and coffee selection as well as a wonderful breakfast hamper including eggs, fresh milk and juice as well as some home baking. Carol also brought some lovely treats throughout the weekend like soup and pancakes which were very appreciated! The setting is fantastic, listening to the birds and ever changing weather is so peaceful. Carol was on hand with suggestions of local things to do too and I was glad I took her up on them as I had a lovely time. Thank you so much Carol. I will be spreading the word and returning soon!

Carol and Mark are fantastic hosts going above and beyond to make sure you'll have a great stay! When arriving Carol gave me (and my friend who spent some time with me at the hut a couple of times) a warm welcome and made me feel at home straight away. She lit the fire in the stove for me too, so it was warm and cozy when I arrived and Mark showed me how to light it myself the next day. In general, the hut is really lovely, very dreamy and aesthetic especially with the decor and the fairy lights (my highlight) - I always wanted to live in a hut like that! It is very peaceful too. Bus connections (ember & stagecoach) are there too within just a short walking distance! Because it was quite cold (early spring), Carol also showed me a bathroom inside their home that I could use which I really appreciated! They also provided oat milk for my breakfast (and hot croissants!) & even cooked delicious vegetarian meals for me! I couldn't have wished for more and I am really grateful for this week!

It was an excellent stay at Carol's place over the weekend. The haven was cozy, beautiful, and full of thoughtfulness. Loved how comfortable and peaceful it was.
