Hicks Lake covers 155 acres. About one third of the shoreline of Hicks Lake has been developed. If you have experienced fully developed lakes, then you will appreciate how few watercraft are on the lake at any one time. Hicks Lake features an improved DNR site with restroom, concrete pad boat launch, dock, and parking for seven cars. There are parking spaces for vehicles and/or small trailers at Bullfrog Bunkhouse. Additional parking for larger trailers may be available upon request.
Groceries are available at Ebels Supermarket In Evart (11 miles), Marion Village Market in Marion (12 miles), or Walmart or Meijers in Cadillac (26 miles)

Motorcycle-only. Mostly hilly with a mix of hard and softwoods (little pine). Rocky trail with some semi-challenging short rocky/full of roots climbs. Some sections are severely grooved.
