Welcome to Trentside. A Beautiful, Bright 2nd story, 2brm waterfront Apt. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Trent River Waterway from your spacious private balcony, or relax in Hammock chairs in your enclosed porch. Spend your days fishing, sunbathing or swimming in the 15ft above ground pool. You can dock your boat, or make use of a 4 person paddleboat to explore the shoreline. Or hike or bike on the Heritage trail located just across the street all 15 mins N of 401. Spectacular views from your bright and tastefully decorated upstairs waterfront getaway located just north of Frankford and only 15 mins from Hwy 401. Self check-in for your convenience, a private entrance with vestibule and storage lockers leads to the upstairs landing. The space offers a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, comfortable living room with TV and 2 full bedrooms with King Bed in one and 2 twin beds with 2nd TV in the other. The spacious 3 piece washroom area has bath/shower in oversized tub, sink and toilet. There is WiiFii in this space with average download speeds of 10Mbps and upload of 2Mbps.

Great place, great host, excellent fishing off dock, air bb could do a better job of describing location before down payment - non refundable- not exactly location described - 1 hour outside of requested location . But it was worth it!! Thank you

We were looking for a peaceful, close to nature accommodation for last long weekend of summer, and didn't we find the perfect cottage in Quinte West!! With the friendly, super-responsive host in Kevin, all 3 in our family (including the 10 year old daughter) were unanimous that this cottage was hands-down our best experience in Ontario so far. It is right by the Trent river with a private dock, swim platform, and paddle boat to enjoy. It was magical to watch the full moon rise on the other side of the river from our open porch and create reflections in the water (which Kevin had informed us beforehand). The second floor accommodation was spotless, and had high quality utensils, bed linens and towels. The weather was sunny and warm for us to enjoy the inflatable pool. We visited Sandbanks on 1 day, and on Kevin's recommendation: beaches in Frankford and Oak Lake on other 2 days. We told Kevin we'll be back to enjoy the fall colors from his cottage next time. :) Highly recommended!

Had a lovely getaway!! Such a peaceful area and gorgeous home. Had lots of fun using the amenities including the BBQ, hanging chairs, and paddle boat. Perfect amount of space for four people, bathroom is huge and king bed was a treat :) restaurants, grocery, trails, and activities like the berry farm were very accessible but would’ve been happy to stay all day at the house! Kevin was a super friendly and kind host that made our stay all the better. Would definitely come back!

Really nice place!! Kevin was a great host and such a nice person. Lots of things to do right on the spot (paddleboat, pool, small beach, fire pit). Well decorated and beautiful view on the large river from the balcony in the hanging chairs 👌. We will be back 😊

Trentside is located on a private road located just north of Frankford. It is very quiet and you feel completely hidden away, yet 10 mins to grocery stores. The view is truly breathtaking at this part of the waterway being that the river is approximately 1km wide. There is also approximately 11 miles between locks in this part of the waterway which gives it more of a lake feel. The Heritage trail is also located directly across from the residence which can be used for hiking or biking. There is also quite a bit of wildlife in the area which includes geese, hawks, swans, cranes and the occasional river otter or beaver. The Stirling theater is 10 mins away, and the theaters and events in Trenton and Belleville are 20 minutes away by car. If wine tasting is something you would like to do, Wellington wineries and tours are a 40 minute drive in the county. You could also take a beautiful and senic day trip to Sand Banks Provincial Park which is about an hour away.
