Country in the City was the perfect place for our visit to Charlottesville! The house had everything we needed and was really comfortable. Holly was an amazing host - very responsive to any questions we had and made our stay great!
We were in town for my son’s graduation. Holly’s place was the perfect location for getting on grounds easily. It is an absolutely beautiful home with lots of thoughtful extras. We especially enjoyed the peaceful backyard each morning and evening after celebrating with our grad. Holly is a wonderful host - very responsive and accommodating. If I need a place to stay in Charlottesville again I would definitely stay here!
I can’t say enough good things about our stay at knollhaus. It was well stocked with all the necessary supplies and amenities. The house itself was quaint and very relaxing. The “starter” items were a great touch, from the candle and tulips to the wine and coffee. It was a wonderful experience and next time I’m in Charlottesville, I would love to stay there again.
Holly’s place was wonderful! The bedrooms were cozy with memory foam mattress toppers, good linens, and blackout shades. Comfortable seating in the living area, nice size dining table, and bonus spaces downstairs, on the screened in porch, and back patio. Everything was very clean and had nice style touches. Holly communicated proactively and responded quickly. The house binder was full of good information. We highly recommend!

Jefferson Park Circle is a lovely, quiet, and established neighborhood in the University area that backs up to woods and the mountains and loads of riverside trails. Many families and UVA professors call this neighborhood home. Truly the best of all worlds: walking distance to the stadium, UVa Grounds, restaurants and coffee shops- yet set in a tree-canopied, quiet neighborhood.
Cars make things more convenient, but at Knollhaus you can always walk, get an Uber, or pick up the city bus at the stop just around the corner. You can also rent an electric Bird scooter to ride around town, or hop on the free trolley.
