Transport & Access
- Uber works well in the area and generally get something within 10-15 mins tops

Food & Drink
- Bracknell town centre is a little over a mile away on foot or by car and has a number of the chain restaurants including Pizza Express, Zizzis, Las Iguanas, TGI Fridays, McDonalds, Real Greek, Wagamamas and Nando’s amongst the typical coffee shop chains of Starbucks and Costa. There is also a one of coffee shop called Brew in East Hampstead works which is great for in the week and if you have small children as there is a little play area. Also Fuego is nice but book in advance especially if you want to sit on the terrace.)
- Pubs in the area are The Yorkshire Rose (expensive but 0.3 mile walk away), The Shepards House, The Stag and Hounds and The Cricketers as all part of a longer walk but taking in the country lanes and bridal paths and The Admiral Cunningham which is near a park but also great for kids with its own play area and pond with coy carp. Cheap and cheerful but it can get a bit rowdy at times!
- The Spice Lounge is the curry house a 2 minute walk away. They do takeaway or dine in (we mainly go here for the convenience rather than it being a banging curry…)
- Deliveroo does come out to us but order well ahead of time in the evenings as they get busy tend to wait up to an hour
- Wokingham town centre is about 10 minutes drive and offers some more none chain options as well as some other chain options such as Cote. Windsor is around 15 minutes away with a huge variety of options also.
