Helen is an absolute gem. She is quick to communicate and so, so kind and caring—going out of her way to make sure you are comfortable and have a pleasant stay. Extraordinary hostess. The apartment is lovely, spacious, and comfortable. Very well equipped kitchen, and I loved the patio! Great location. You cannot go wrong staying with Helen!

This was our second stay in The Sanctuary and honestly it will be our ‘Auckland home’ whenever we visit again. Loved the area and its proximity to Ponsonby and the CBD. An Uber to either takes minutes. Helen is super helpful and responsive too.

Had a great stay at Helen’s place. Lovely location and very comfortable apartment. We appreciated being able to leave our luggage there after check out. And we had our first introduction to the famous Whittakers chocolate courtesy of Helen.

We have stayed with Helen before in two of her properties and loved them. This one was every bit as clean, well designed and comfortable as the others. And Helen is a reliably superb host: attentive and caring, yet also respectful of our needs. I can’t recommend her strongly enough.
