From amazing communication to more amenities than advertised we were beyond happy with this stay. The house has everything you could need to play in the adjacent ocean or cook or BBQ. We were able to see so many things right from the deck, yard or beach : seals, little deer, bunnies, shells, starfish, clams, crabs, heron and many more. It’s walking distance to a little local pub but call first as tables and even food was limited. Lots of near by hikes through moss filled forests with huge old trees and we even saw a family of bears. Highly recommend this peaceful vacation spot.

We had a wonderful stay at Art’s place. The views from the deck were amazing. We could walk straight out onto the beach for paddle boarding and sea shell hunting. The house had everything we needed and more.

This is a beautiful spot to getaway and relax. We has an incredible time with our family. The place has a great setup - especially the main floor which is open concept with an ocean view. We spent most of the time up on the patio overlooking the water. There is also a good tv/games room downstairs which I could see being a good spot for a rainy day. It seems the family is there quite often so it really has everything you'd need. We appreciated having access to the paddle board and a bbq! The grounds around the cottage are well maintained and it walks right out onto the beach. It was a very short walk up the beach to a swimming area. You could swim right out front though it is quite close to the marina. One small note is that the third bedroom is in an area that you need to walk through to get to another bedroom or to the bathroom - lots of space but something to know. Art was very responsive and provided great suggestions on things to do in the area. We mostly relaxed at the cottage, did some swimming, went paddle boarding (seals right out front play with you!), walked the spit at low tide to see all the marine life, and did a handful of beautiful hikes in the area (<10 min drive away!). Overall a worthwhile spot to spend a vacation. THANK YOU!

Art's home was a fantastic place to stay. We saw bald eagles, otters, and seals right from the deck. We were able to walk along the beach. There was plenty of space for our family. The nearby area is beautiful with many outdoor activities. I would highly recommend this home as a place to stay

Everything was as expected and more. If you have a chance to stay at Art’s place in Deep Bay don’t pass it up. Beautiful accommodations with great personal touches. Plus you can’t beat the views.
