Visit the beautiful coastal town of Gibsons and enjoy staying at our oceanfront studio, overlooking the sparkling waters of the Salish Sea, islands, and the North Shore Mountains. Steps from Armours Beach, the suite is also only a few minutes walk to restaurants and shops, 1 minute from the bus stop, and on the bike route. The perfect location for all your Sunshine Coast adventures, just a scenic 39 minute ferry ride from Vancouver and a 6 minute drive from the ferry terminal. This is a cozy space ideal for couples or guests enjoying time on their own. Patio space is for your use only and great for relaxing with a cup of coffee or glass of wine, local beer, cider or sparkling water while enjoying the beautiful views. Watch for harbour seals, whales, Orcas, porpoises, eagles, cormorants, seagulls, herons, deer and other birds and wildlife right from your front windows and patio. Recently we have seen Orcas swimming in the moonlight so close you can hear them breathing through their blowholes! Cool off in the summer with a swim or take a cold plunge in the Fall/Winter at Armours Beach, directly across the road. There is a paved path where you can carry or wheel your kayak, paddleboard, canoe etc. and launch from the dock or beach. There is a public washroom and outdoor shower at the beach. 2 beach towels are available to use in the suite. Walking distance to all the downtown amenities. A 1 minute walk from the bus stop and right along the bike route from the ferry. Explore the nearby hiking trails, beaches, and charming coastal village. Sample delicious seafood at local restaurants, visit art galleries, or simply unwind at the beach. There is a mini fridge/freezer and kitchenette area with a sink where you can make coffee or tea. Coffee, tea, cream, sugar, salt, pepper, Sunshine Coast Olive oil and vinegar, welcome beverages and plates/cutlery etc. are provided. **There is no microwave, stovetop/hot plate, or oven or any other way to cook/heat food** There are lots of restaurants/take out places very close by :) Town of Gibsons Business License RGA-2023-40

We absolutely loved this accommodation. The location was perfect, the suite was spotless & cozy. Dan & Lynn were so available for communication. Could not have been better. We totally look forward to our next visit. Thank you both for being such fabulous hosts. See you soon! 😀

Great space across from the beach and close to downtown Gibsons. The space looks small in the photos but is surprisingly spacious in person. Would stay here again!

The perfect place to stay for a few days of relaxation on the Sunshine Coast. Right in front of the beach and walking distance from great coffee places, a brewery and restaurants. The space itself also felt very comfortable and homey, with lots of attention to detail (eg high-quality coffee maker, nice teas).

出行信息

Sunshine Coast Transit System Route 1 and 90 bus routes coordinate with ferry arrival and departures from the Langdale Ferry terminal and stop at Armours Beach, a 1 minute walk to the suite.
The bus ride takes 10-12 minutes and the fare is $2 or $4 for a day pass - available onboard - cash only. You’ll see the Welcome to Gibsons sign and it is the first stop after that - let the driver know you need to get off at Armours Beach.
Driving from the Langdale ferry takes about 6 minutes along Marine Drive. Stay in the far left lane after disembarking the ferry and then turn left onto Marine Drive. Turn right on Beach Ave and then take the first right onto McCall Lane/Rd - a narrow gravel road.
There is a parking space at the back of the house for you to use.

We love travelling/exploring, swimming, kayaking, hiking, foraging for mushrooms, and enjoying all the great restaurants and other activities on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. Dan is a PGA golf instructor and Lynn is a nursing instructor.
