The place to stay in Oxnard! This spacious home was perfect for our multi family gathering for a weekend wedding nearby. Close to coffee, local tavern, taco shop and sand and sea right out the doorstep! Hosts were very responsive, accommodating and gracious with questions. Highly recommend.
Thank you Glenn for hosting us for my partner's graduation! It was kid friendly and an absolutely gorgeous home! All the decor was beautiful, the gardens were stunning, beds were lush and cozy, house was clean and sparkling, and it fit all 12 of us perfectly! The provided binoculars were a wonderful added detail, thank you for everything Glenn!

Beautiful place in a beautiful location where you can watch surfers right from your balcony. Popular surfing and body boarding spot. There is also a great little bar right across the street. Lots of space for our party of 11 to spread out and relax. Well kept, clean, and had all the amenities we needed. Lots of beach items available for use. Glenn was an excellent communicator and made the check in and check out process so easy. He even reached out early after seeing there was a forecast for rain during the weekend we were coming to stay and let us know about where the large selection of books and board games were and where to find the umbrellas. Would definitely return.
We stayed the weekend for my sons 16th birthday and had so much fun. Glenn's house was absolutely perfect with the 2 living areas for my son and his friends to hang out in their own space (although we were fighting over who got the upstairs, the views are amazing). We got unlucky with the weather (we knew we were taking a chance in March), it was super windy and cold, but since the house was spacious we were all able to hang out inside without feeling cramped. It's well stocked with all the towels, linens, supplies that anyone would need. The beds are comfortable. The main bedroom doesn't have a whole lot of privacy with the fact that you have to go through it to get to the upstairs bedroom, but it wasn't an issue for us.

Named for the silver screen, Silver Strand Beach is the southernmost beach in Oxnard, hugged by a colorful neighborhood of stunning homes.
Silver Strand Beach is a local favorite in Oxnard. With only one entrance/exit to the Silver Strand neighborhood down Victoria Avenue, the mile-long beach is relatively isolated - bordered by Port Hueneme Naval Base to the south and the inlet to Channel Islands Harbor to the north. Since it's a bit of a trek (7 miles) from Highway 101, the beach remains fairly uncrowded most of the year.
The best way to get around the neighborhood is by bicycle, walking or jogging

I grew up Surfing, Sailing, Fishing and all the other things that this area offered. I worked in Set Lighting for the Motion Picture Industry 30+ years. Now retired, the simple things in life matter.
