Host is very friendly, welcomes guests very thoughtfully. Room is a bit old. Unfortunately for me, during my trip the area had power outages 6 times during the night. But basically everything is very good.

This is yet another bait and switch apartment scam In Vietnam. Unfortunately, this is very common here. When I arrived, I was put in a room that looked much older than the pictures with completely different furniture. At first the host said that they just switched the decor and I pointed out that this was a lie because the wall shape was different. Then she “remembered” that the room I booked was too noisy and that this much older looking room was actually an upgrade from what I originally booked. This was preposterous as the building is on a very peaceful street. She then offered to put me in the room I booked originally, but at that point I was fed up with the dishonesty and requested a refund for the stay. She tried to block me from getting the refund, but Airbnb approved my request because her acts were so egregious. There’s also a roach infestation and they will crawl on you. It’s not the same roaches that come in from outside. I know what those look like and they don’t bother me.
