Amazing secluded spot with amenities and great view. The host is very friendly, and was very flexible with our check in time.

One of the best experiences we’ve had at an Airbnb in the ten years we’ve been traveling all over the world. Such a rustic, but very comfortable taste of the simple life. The pictures don’t do it justice with how serene and off the grid it is. Felt like we were transported into the past with all the nice touches of knickknacks, classic afghans, and nostalgic touches. Charles was very communicative over text. When we arrived, his wife Cathy got in her atv and escorted us across their lush property down a grassy road to the very back where the camper was tucked away in a thick forest. There’s a very beautiful trail through birch trees and every wildflower you can imagine on your way to the lake. We had the lake to ourselves, so private. Took the row boat and dropped the anchor, swam and sunbathed for a few hours in the middle of the lake. The fire pit has al the wood you want to burn. Lots of coyotes howling, lots of owls hooting. There isn’t wifi but we still got signal on our phones.
