This place worked great for our needs. The location was close to Finlayson, and this was just what we needed during our visit. It was very cold and snowy when we stayed, but the house was always warm and inviting. We didn't take advantage of any of the outside amenities due to the cold weather, but I can see that they would be nice during the right time of the year. I appreciated that the checkout needs were minimal and that the house was warm and ready when we arrived. Additionally, it is nice to see that there is air conditioning available during the summer. We would be happy to stay here again.

As the parents of a toddler, we loved the fact that this place was clutter free and had an open floor plan and also had some kid activities and books too! Loved the cozy little cabin feel; tucked away yet close to the nearest town. We were there for Christmas and I asked Lois if it was possible for her to put up a Christmas tree for us. When we arrived there were lights up outside and inside was a beautiful tree lit up! Not sure if they would have automatically done this without me asking but either way they definitely went above and beyond to make it comfortable. Next time we travel to MN to see family this will be the place we choose to stay again and again!
