We loved staying at the Kettle for our girls weekend getaway! The first half of our time was chilly and rainy, so we spent time playing games and hanging out in the cozy cabin by the fire. The extra throw blankets were a great touch! We still enjoyed being outdoors in the screened in porch, grilling, spending time in the sauna, and hiking around the property. Our group loved the cozy cabin vibes and the privacy of being out in the woods with the beautiful colors of nature everywhere you look. The cabin was very easy to find and only took us a little over an hour to get there from St Paul. Everything was very clean and easy to find in the cabin. The labels - both inside and outside the cabin - were very clear. The communication from the owners was very much appreciated even though we didn’t have any questions or issues! Thanks for everything you put into the cabin and property to make it so comfortable and inviting!

The cabin was great for our work from home girls trip! Plenty of gathering spaces and separate work options. Would definitely recommend!

4.5/5. Our stay was incredibly calm and peaceful, exactly what we were hoping for! Checking in was easy, and the instructions for different features of the space were clear. Fantastic wifi made up for the lack of cell phone service and made a rainy weekend a little more eventful. The puzzles/games were a great addition, the kitchen was perfectly stocked, and having readily available firewood made cozy use of the woodburning stove so easy. You can tell the owners care about this place and their guests. A few small things we would change: 1) curtain or blinds on all windows, we felt a little exposed with most windows left uncovered. 2) a lot of furniture in the living space... it was just the two of us so we rearranged to make the space more open. 3) privacy near the fire pit: there's a camera pointed right at that outdoor area. 4) the loft queen bed was tall for the space, taking out the frame would have made navigating the space easier and the bed less wobbly.

The place is very cozy, nestled away in the woods, but still conveniently close enough to things like grocery stores, restaurants/breweries, and parks that a short drive could take you to any of these places for a fun day/evening trip. The cabin itself was well-stocked with basic necessities like soap, towels, spare blankets and more which made the stay convenient and cut down on the number of things we needed to carry with us. There are also enough beds to accommodate several guests comfortably and the extra bathroom downstairs makes the stay on either floor convenient. Just be careful with the ceiling clearance over the top bunks! We also had an excellent time exploring the trail around the house and relaxing in the sauna! Over all, this cabin space has a lot going for it and is a great value too.

Really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful home and area. Loved the walk to the river and sitting on the deck. Daniel was very responsive and friendly. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.
