We have left totally dossapointed from having chosen this property. Before we arrived I had checked with the host the speed of the Internet and she reassured me that it was fast enough to work from there. However upon arrival it was evident that the speed of Internet was slower than ADSL speeds 20 years ago. When we complaint about it, she said she would bring a technician to look at it, however nothing happened. She was great at replying to messages until check in and never heard from her afterwards. At check in we were also told that one of the bathrooms was out of action - this info was not shared with us prior to check in. The water pressure was non existent,taking a shower was a painful process. The water coming out was luke warm.the dish washer has to be fixed whilst we were there to make it work.the lost can go on,but as you can see this was not the relaxing holiday experience we were hoping for and expecting from a property marketed at this level. The host is also totally out of touch of the competition,we stayed in much less expensive properties and the hosting was incomparable. Now if you look past all of the frustrating issues,the property itself is big with great spaces and amazing views.the pool is also really good and the walk to the beach takes a couple of minutes the beaches around there are incredible and there are loads of restaurants and cafes nearby. If the hosting improves and the few issues in the property get fixed this could be a winner, regrettably this was not our experience.

Villa is rather big, 2 floors, and the terrace with the swimming pool. We were 3 adult and 2 small children, but there was no sense of tightness. There was one of the picturesque view in my life of the Istron Bay. And this view is from the all parts of villa, and the terrace with pool too. It was amazing. All the necessary things were in the villa. Every day was cleaned. And every second day was changed the bed linens and towels. Sheets and towels are good. Beds are comfortable. I had asked to change a pillows, and they made it. So very thanks for service. Of course, to tell the truth, the villa looks simpler than in the photo. Furniture is not new and modern, as you see on pics. For example, chairs on the kitchen terrace require replacement, it’s impossible to sit on them. But the view, comfortable beds, and enough space in the villa overlaps this negative aspects. Also there was no feeling of disgust, that sometimes were in different apartments. But one bedroom with twin beds, not so cozy, because, you can enter from the streetstairs through the window. The beach Istron Bay is ok, in 3-5 minutes of walking from the villa. It’s the Istron Beach Hotel’s beach. Sunsits and umbrellas are free for persons from the villa. And the villa is in 2-4 min from the Istron Beach Hotel. So if you want private rest with the fantastic view, it’s here. But car is necessary, because hotel and villa away from the shops and taverns. Nearest supermarket in Istron 2-3 km from the villa. And the next beach is Voulisma beach, in top 5 of the best Crete’s beaches. We were spend our time usually there. So, finally, we have a really good time there. And ready to repeat. Вилла достаточно большая, 2 этажа, и плюс отдельная вместительная терраса с бассейном. Первый этаж отсутствует (технические помещения), на втором этаже 2 спальни, в каждой спальне по отдельной ванне. И следующий этаж студия: гостиная с кухней, и туалетом. Нас было 3 взрослых, 2 ребёнка, ощущения тесноты не было. На террасу с бассейном выход с последнего этажа, она сбоку от виллы. Со всех комнат виллы, вернее террас, потому как у каждой комнаты есть своя терраса, и с террасы с бассейном открывается потрясающий вид на маленькую бухту Istron Bay. Пляж в этой бухте небольшой и неплохой, но не идёт ни в какое сравнение с расположенным в соседней бухте Voulisma beach. А вот вид с виллы на Istron Bay настолько живописный, что захватывает дух. Вилла принадлежит отелю Istron Bay Hotel, и как и отель удалена от магазинов и таверн, которые расположены в ближайшем населенном пункте Istron, где-то 2-3 км от виллы. Но добраться до Istron кроме как пешком или на машине, возможности нет. Такси нет. Пешком с коляской очень тяжело. Местность горная, уклоны под большим градусом, серпантин и т.д. Поэтому рекомендую для данного вида проживания обязательно арендовать машину. Тем более, что крупные супермакеты и рынок с хорошими...
