Host is friendly, although slow to respond either through phone number (doesn’t seem to have received a message through the phone number at all) or air bnb app. Place is nice but some potential for improvement.. I.e shower barely working/might as take a shower in the sink. The oven in the kitchen didn’t look or .. smell.. as ever been cleaned. Bedroom door lock not working - considering the house is meant to be shared between other guests. Wasn’t a major issue though as didn’t leave important belongings behind in there and we were the only guests there at the time. Garden amenities - dirty and seemed like not finished cleaning or not touched since winter/not touched at all. Cushions for seating all mouldy. Dust, dirt, cobwebs everywhere. The place is nice in some aspects, but at the same time a bit half-assed. Basically, it’s doable if you’re there for one night and barely stay at the home. Not for longer stays, unless cared for more.
