After a confusing check-in, we found our unnumbered cabin attached to the office (misleading), with a deck full of tools. We were only told the water park was no longer available-fine. However, there was no charcoal grill, firepit, or working tv. Heather, the host, sent the handyman over, and it was remedied- great. Also, internet was available, but for a FEE! The listing was also not one level, as described. After we discovered that no kayaks, or boats were available to use, only then, did Heather admit that the resort was essentially closed and that she had rented to us, "as a favor," unbeknownst to us, as it was booked in advance, with fees paid. We were told we could "leave" and that she would "call the police." We just wanted what was described. The cabin was clean and nicely furnished, but Heather was a liar, and we wouldn't have booked, had we known. Unbelievably bad experience! We left, and fully enjoyed, Canary Beach Resort, at 1/3 the price, on Labor Day weekend, at 10 pm.

Nice clean & spacious place on nice little resort. Well-located near lovely large park and beach. Visiting others nearby so didn’t take full advantage of resort. Will return to resort if not to this cabin—enjoyed our stay.
