Mercedita was way too accommodating. She's very responsive and very helpful for all our needs. On top of that, she's very understanding and respectful of our privacy. We had to extend our stay without her informing in advance (we didn't expect that our visa interview will be prolonged, hence wasn't able to inform her of the extension since all our gadgets are left in the unit; but she did wait for us to check-out before entering her unit to clean-up). the good: it's a great location, close to the water and other areas of interest, there was a 711 and other stores downstairs (there's a spa right in front but we didn't get to try it out), there's also other food vendors on the same street, there's always someone in the lobby. The host was nice and responsive The place was smaller than it looked in the pictures and the bed isn't really for sharing so if you're going with a partner, you may have to use the pull out mattress or be squished in. Aside from that though, the size of the place wasn't really a big issue for us and if you're just going there for sleep then it shouldn't be a problem The bad: roaches. There were tiny roaches all around the apartment. This was a nice cozy place with a nice host, however that roaches alone would keep us from coming back. Hopefully this can be resolved and no one else deals with this in the future, but also note that it is an old building.

On our first day, Internet was down and it's important for us to have Internet access by Mercedita requested a service all the following day. Appreciated the effor.😊

Perfect place to stay for those having a schedule for their US embassy appointment since it is just a 10 min walk to the embassy. The host is responsive to our concerns and the place is clean and has the amenities you need to make yourself comfortable during your stay.
