Forrester Cottage is a delightful 18th Century stone-built cottage set in the heart of the picturesque market town of Masham, luxurious décor and stylish furnishings await guests with features like the wood burner and fitted kitchen are sure to impress. The master bedroom has a plush king size bed, double height vaulted ceiling with exposed beams and feature lighting and a wonderful cast iron roll-top bath for guests to have a well-deserved relaxing soak after exploring this stunning area.

Great location, generally very clean parking not a problem, the dining at the local pubs in the square was limited as on night one only The Kings was serving, the Black Sheep was a good place to visit and they serve bar food. The accommodation has pretty much everything you might need. Lots of nice places in the area.

A perfect base for our break in North Yorkshire
The location was perfect for Masham. Everything within a 2 minute walk away. We were able to get parked right outside the front door for our whole stay. Forresters Cottage was so cute and cosy. Clean and tidy and nicely decorated and furnished. There were a few things that were broken but emailed the host privately and they responded immediately.

With Forrester Cottage situated in the centre of this historic market town, the local pubs, restaurants, shops, pubs and breweries are within easy reach along with a lovely gin distillery where tours can be booked. Masham, one of the largest market squares in the country and which has a Wednesday market, now also has a popular Saturday market, and is a great place to purchase local produce. The cottage is also well placed for walking and exploring the stunning Yorkshire Dales and Nidderdale Area of Natural Beauty National Parks and has an abundance of scenic walks and bike trails, whilst the fashionable spa town of Harrogate, the cathedral city of Ripon, Fountains Abbey, RHS Garden Harlow Carr and Studley Royal are just a short drive away. Pub and restaurant 13 yards.
