This is a very cute cabin surrounded by green grass, cows, and flowers. Everything inside matched the photos and descriptions. It was a little difficult finding the place at night, but VERY helpful that they have the two green road signs at the end of the driveway. Elizabeth was very nice and helpful. I would have communicated more with her but cell service was an issue throughout our hiking adventures. The only reason I gave this stay 4 stars instead of 5 was because the wifi didn't work. It kind of worked the first night but slow and spotty. Then it never worked again. Hopefully they can figure that out. Overall, worth the trip and surrounding beauty. Plus the dog is VERY friendly!
A hidden gem!!! Leo and his daughter Terrie (who runs the show remotely) are extremely accommodating. If we needed anything they made it happen. We will definitely be back...
The only thing that could have been better is the WiFi but it is the country, so that is understandable. I hope we get to come back during the summer!
Mouse droppings were abundant inside kitchen cabinets, on the pull out sofa bed, and behind it. Water was on the living room floor. A snake crawled up the outside of the kitchen window. The kitchen window does not open. There is no vent hood above the stove top. This place has a front porch but no back porch as described listing. The back of this place has a barn attached to it. We were directed to place our trash inside 50-gallon drums located on the back porch. 50 gallon drums were located inside a dirty shed attached to the cabin/barn right outside the kitchen/dining room. We were then directed to remove all of our trash and walk it to the back of the owners truck (not closeby)... where he then took it to the dump. We had terrible cell phone coverage and internet here. I would never stay here again!
