Muy contentas con la estadía, lo mejor es el entorno!! Es espectacular el sonido de la naturaleza, la cantidad de pájaros, el lago con patitos, y los paisajes increíble… realmente vale la pena para encontrar paz y tranquilidad. Cercano al lago arenal donde hay actividades acuáticas y muchos restaurantes! La cabaña tiene todo para estar cómodo y hasta una cocina rústica equipada con lo básico! Muy agradecidas! Definitivamente seremos huéspedes frecuentes!

This beautiful family owned property is lovingly cared for, and so are its guests. Marco, his brother, and his father were all very gracious- bringing me feed for the ducks and homemade pastries as a special treat. I loved the visit from the farm cat who became a welcome part of my day. It is a very rugged place, like camping- you need a certain comfort level with insects and wildlife, but I loved my stay and was grateful for the kind hospitality. Thank you again Marco and family!

Absolutely stellar stay at this Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The accommodations were beautiful and comfortable.. Marco went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met, even meeting us to ensure we found the place without any difficulty. The location was superb, convenient to everything we wanted to explore. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Five stars all the way!

Marco's place is the embodiment of the song "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". It is a more primitive set up which we knew going into our stay but was one of our favorite places in Costa Rica. We saw Toucans, Crested Guan, Great Curassow, Pacas, and a variety of smaller birds and amphibians. It was stormy in the evenings with higher winds (which we missed for the rest of our trip) and beautiful mornings. The domestic ducks come for snacks but keep their space, and the private hiking trail is gorgeous. The WiFi was reliable, Marco's communication and recommendations were great, and the pride in the maintenance of the grounds were obvious. The weather, the laid-back atmosphere of the cabin, and the immediate location were a dream. Would recommend Marco's place to anyone wanting to experience a more rustic side of Costa Rica. - Morgan & Samuel
