True to its name, Khwab-gah, is an abode of dreams. The place matches the pictures and the description. We were a group of four and stayed at the property for 4 nights. There are two bedrooms on the first floor and a small common area. Our space was secluded without any intervention from the host. Both the rooms have an uninterrupted view of the Dal Lake -- you could imagine the dreamy view especially in the mornings. Ishaan is a great host. He engaged with me weeks before the check in and offered to help with Gondola bookings and cab. He frequently checked with me about my itinerary and any other arrangements. Upon our arrival, he greeted us at the main gate and took great care of our comfort throughout. He is the most kind, humble and helpful host and went out of his way to ensure we have great time. Overall, I would blindly recommend the property to anyone visiting Srinagar for a quiet vacation away from the chaos of city but with great views and food. Don't think twice. :)

This was my first time at Kashmir and I was brimming with enthusiasm. Ishan and Khwab-gah became the perfect complement. Khwab-gah as a place to stay was peaceful with an unmatched view of the dal lake and the snow-capped mountains. There is a dedicated workplace with seamless internet. I was lucky enough as Ishan was there at the property and he made sure I had no issues with anything, be it hot water or hot kavah. Shamima di is an amazing cook. Her egg curry and parathas were delish! She also takes your request as long as you are ready to teach. Ishan also provided contacts of all the cabs, autos and other services which were very handy. Make sure you ask him about all the hidden gems and take him help planning your trip in and around. Khwab-gah is now my new home away from home.

The host Ishan, a real sweet person. Did inform us of everything in advance. But my parents experience. The road is full of potholes, no vision and human presence at all after sunset, very scary. The description provided is correct. please take it seriously. A good place to just spend your entire day in the property. Charges to visit city is ₹800 per trip. Really expensive. Could have included trips to city in the pricing. Afterall it is all about the tourist experience. Very difficult for the elderly to manage such a location. Youngester would have a lot of fun.
