We had a lovely stay at the Grey Pelican over the Thanksgiving break. We enjoy visiting Palmilla Beach, and this property was one of our favorites. The home had everything we needed for Thanksgiving dinner prep, and had the perfect number of bedrooms to accommodate our family. The elevator was a plus. We’ll definitely consider staying here again.

The house is great and nicely designed for a large family. It would be great if the balconies were cleaned prior to arrival of all the bird soiled. Great community pool and bar. I would go back again to this location.

My husband and I have a one-year-old, and my sister's family has two kids (7 & 6). We adults each had our rooms, and so did the kids. Plenty of space, and it’s a very family-oriented neighborhood. Walking to the pool was easy. But if you’re a family taking tents, toys, chairs, etc., YOU need to rent a golf cart from the Palmilla pool house. They sell out, so get one early. The beach is walking distance, but it’s still far. This house is in the back of the neighborhood. The beach is crazy crowded with a ton of cars bc you can drive on this beach. Good news is that you can drive your golf cart right to your spot and unload. Just keep driving past the cars bc they do protect the beach and have a “no car” zone, that’s where we set up. The house is gorgeous only thing is that for the money we paid per night there were a lot of stains on the furniture and clumps of hair/dust all in the bathrooms and on the towels. The soap dispenser was empty too in the kitchen which is small but annoying.
