This house is completly out of maintenance. Despite inconsistency with the description and troubles the host was responsible for, Airbnb offered about $17 for compensation and just tossed it to their Resolution Center, saying 'you need to settle this with your host yourself.' The host also didn't respond to resolution Airbnb either. 1. Broken heaters: Without proper heating sources at all, the living room was basically cold and the aircon there and another in the small room were broken. Every night and evening, we had to suffer from the cold towards the end of December. Only by Day 4, the host sent us a little radiator, which was just small enough for a person. Airbnb stepped aside and avoided holding the host accountable. 2. Broken Microwave 3. Malfunctioning TV 4. A smell of something burning comes up constantly into the bigger room. 5. Stuck windows: You need to call up the security if you want to open or close any windows.

The place was spacious and clean and the host was responsive. We could not ask for a better location as it was close to everything. The only minuses were that the AC smelled a little strange and we were only given 2 bath towels despite there being 3 of us and we explicitly asked for 1 more. I had to go outside and buy one myself.

In general we are happy with the accommodation. It is not cheap comparable to similar properties but on the plus side, the rooms(2 bedrooms, a bathroom and the living room, kitchen & dining are of good size, love it! Location -wise, it's amazingly quiet at night (due to its location on a side street) despite being near to a major market (chợ Hôm & Đức Viên) and the surrounding streets are fully occupied by stores. Plenty of good places for eating out (phở Thìn, bún chả ‘Obama’, thế giới ngan etc.) The location is also within walking distance to many major attractions, the Sword Lake, Old Quarters, the parks etc. We did walked to those most of the time. We used Grab (so cheap!) to go to places like the Westlake, Ba Dinh Square, chuà Một Cột etc. As a suggestion for something that can be improved: better and more bath towels ! My wife also like a spray nozzle by the toilet, aka bidet
