Coachwood Cottage was perfect for our overnight stay just outside of Dorrigo. The cottage was easy to find thanks to the sign at the bottom of the driveway. The cottage is just as described - warm, inviting, very comfortable and very clean. The view is stunning and peaceful. Georgina had the wood burning fire stacked and ready to go which was greatly appreciated. The beds were very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The extras such as towels, soap, kitchenware were helpful and fresh farm eggs, bread and fruit for breakfast were appreciated. Georgina was a great host, very responsive and proactive. It would have been lovely to spend longer there and hope to be back for a few nights next time to soak up the tranquil surroundings.

Absolutely stunning vista. The outlook, the surrounding landscape, the native wildlife. I saw lyre birds on two separate occasions on the way out. The herd of deer with the buck & his antlers roaming the hill, chasing off a younger buck… Was gorgeous , I only stayed 1 night passing, through I will definitely make this a destination property. Extremely special property. I have to say this would be in my top 10 destinations world wide. Just for the view alone. The cottage, a converted American style barn, was well appointed. A large comfortable family proof living area upon entry at the rear of the house. Combustion glass fronted wood fire as you enter with fire wood (three 1/4 split logs kept the entire house warm all night). Small kitchen but with everything you would need. Lovely china, enough for two couples. Then there is extra bench space as required that also doubles as a breakfast bar with a view (OMG! Did I mention the view!Wow!!. Bathroom was sm but great. Beds Comfy.

Georgina’s Place was the perfect place to explore the area from and come back to the most peaceful majestic views with lush green hillsides, colourful sunrises and adorable animals. It was luxurious, restful and rejuvenating.

Beautiful spot, so peaceful and private. Perfect for our girls weekend catch up. We didn't leave after arriving, walked the rain forest, fed the deer and birds, utilised the great kitchen and outdoor area to sit, relax and catch up. we will be back.
