One-bedroom condo on our private beach with pool, fully equipped kitchen, renovated bathroom, and private balcony. Sleeps 2 adults. Children cannot be accommodated. Free WiFi inside, cable, DVD player, DVDs, CD player, AM/FM radio, and housekeeping. A private landline phone is provided, for unlimited free calls in Jamaica. Four restaurants and a supermarket are nearby. This is what awaits you every day at our apartment. Apartment 10 at Chrisanns Beach Resort is a tastefully furnished one-bedroom apartment, part of 20 similar apartments, on its own private beach, just outside the tourist mecca of Ocho Rios on Jamaica's North Coast. The apartment's bedroom is an upstairs loft with two twin beds arranged to form a king-size bed and pickled wooden floors. Downstairs is a living and dining area and bathroom. Amenities: - free WiFi Internet service inside the apartment and on the balcony. - fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, Corian countertops, 4 burner electric stove and oven, new microwave, new blender, toaster, French Press coffee maker, all cutlery, pots, and cooking utensils. - our housekeeper provides cleaning service for $25 per cleaning, which you pay her directly. - our housekeeper will cook for you for a modest extra fee. All bed and bath linens and beach towels are provided as part of the nightly rate. - free cable TV, DVD player, and DVDs, AM/FM and CD player, board games, kickboards for swimming, novels, and magazines. - electric iron, ironing board, lockable safe, electric water heater, and brand new split a/c unit that cools the entire apartment. - full-length sliding glass doors in the living area open to a private balcony overlooking our pool, private beach, and landscaped gardens. - gazebo overlooking the water for relaxation or intimate dinners. Attractions Nearby: - Dolphin Cove, where you can swim with these friendly creatures. - Mystic Mountain for an awesome eco-tourism experience, complete with canopy bridges and zipline rides above a tropical rainforest. - Prospect Plantation Tour. - White River, kayaking or going mountain biking on trails nearby. - St. Ann's Bay, the birthplace of Marcus Garvey. - Nine Miles, birthplace of Bob Marley where you can visit his mausoleum and museum. - New Seville, the site where Christopher Columbus first landed in Jamaica. Visit a historical museum and ruins of 15th century Spanish settlements, which is a National Heritage site. - Firefly, the home of Sir Noel Coward. Firefly is now a museum, and another National Heritage site. - Golden Eye, the former home of Ian Fleming, where he wrote his James Bond novels. - Navy Island in Portland, where Errol Flynn once lived.

The place was great.
Marian’s place is lovely - I love the bright art in the suite, great to have the option of a pool or walk right into the ocean. The towels are good quality and the bed was great, I was worried as it was two twins joined together - but there was no falling into the crack the mattress was very comfortable! The air conditioner and big fan worked great! You have all the items you need in the kitchen! A large number of ice cube trays - never ran out. Security was always around, so felt very safe. The tower isle restaurant /bar is great just across the street - staff are friendly and food is fabulous. Would definitely use this condo again when I need a week away. 😎
PROS: nice location, hot shower, safe, easy access with look code; polite host and staff. CONS: some furniture and fixings were dusty; outdoor table wasn’t clean, needs a fresh paint - stained/dirty bathroom walls, dirty front door.

Across the street is Tower Jerk Center. If you want to cook for yourself, there's a well stocked grocery store right across the street, and a weekly farmers' market just down the road with a wide variety of fresh Jamaican fruits and vegetables.
The resort is a 10 minute drive from some of Ocho Rios's finest attractions. You can shop for souvenirs, duty free jewelry and other goodies at the Island Village plaza. Relax at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville Restaurant and Lounge, right on the beach at Island Village. Visit the Reggae Museum in Island Village, and the world-famous Dunns River Falls and Park.
Ocho Rios has many restaurants: Italian, Chinese, international, Indian, and Jamaican. Apartment 10 at Chrisanns Beach Resort is 90 minutes away from Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay.

I was born and grew up in Jamaica, just 30 miles away from Chrisanns Beach Resort. My childhood memories are filled with visits to the beaches on Jamaica's north coast. I've been living in New York City since 1998, working in public relations in the non profit sector, and more recently, as a college instructor. I also make jewelry and quilts, and sell these at craft fairs around New York City. I visit Jamaica several times each year and spend part of my vacations at the beach while I'm there. My condo at no. 10 Chrisanns Beach Resort is now my creative retreat from the hustle and bustle of New York City. I plan to spend more time painting the breathtaking scenery around the north coast, using this beachfront condo as my base.
